Lesson in Nauvoo

The missionary showing us how to print a newspaper in the 1800s made a great analogy.  She talked about how little the letters were and how careful the printer had to be to put them in the right place.  She also said that the printer would put some ink on the charger and check as he went along.  If a mistake was made at the top, then the printer would have to undo all the work he had done since the mistake.  She said that was why it was good to check things as he went along.  So it is in our lives.  The more diligent we are in checking and rechecking our path, the more likely we are to stay the course and get our "story" out with a minimum of mistakes and a minimum of time fixing them!
