Matthew 5
17¶Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
This is interesting because people could have gotten hung up on this. They would have said, "Why would the Savior destroy all his laws? They must not have been his laws -- He must not be the Savior!" Perfectly logical, right? And yet, there is such an easy explanation. He is not destroying, He is fulfilling and giving us a higher law. With the explanation, it is also perfectly logical.
So, how often do people find a fault in the gospel and then say, "Because of this fault, the gospel can not be true!" But really, couldn't it just be that we are missing a piece? And once we hear that piece, we'll understand. Why throw everything away because we don't have all the pieces? It might be something as simple as the above example. And if it is so simple, won't we feel awful?
