What Savannah learned in church

At Sunday dinner, we often share what we learned at church that day. Savannah shared that someone at church had said, "The plan of salvation is much less like a check list than it is like Google maps." We then all discussed with delight how true that is. When you use Google maps to get to a destination, and you make a turn that the app didn't instruct you to take, it processes for a second and says "rerouting." Then it tells you a new path you can take to still get you to your destination. As someone in Savannah's meeting commented, "Google maps never gives up." This is exactly like God! We may continually make wrong turns, but He never gives up on helping us find the path that will lead back to Him. He never throws up His hands and says, "Oh well! You are just way too lost now." AND He never changes what He knows will be the best destination for all of us. He is OK with us taking different paths to get there.
