Contentment

2 Nephi 9:51 Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy. Hearken diligently unto me, and remember the words which I have spoken; and come unto the Holy One of Israel, and feast upon that which perisheth not, neither can be corrupted, and let your soul delight in fatness.

If we are warned to not labor for that which cannot satisfy, then implied is that there is labor which WILL satisfy.  Consider this proverb:

Proverbs 12:11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

When we do the work, we receive the good outcome.  If we till, we get bread!

Sometimes we put all our expectation on the Lord.  We have to find the work which will satisfy.  The Lord expects us to do the work ourselves.   He teaches what will bring us happiness.  It is up to us to follow.
