Women's Conference focused largely on keeping our covenants and raising our children to do the same. A powerful idea that came to me while listening was to encourage the children, specifically when they come to me complaining that they are bored, by asking them "What could you do for the Lord?"
Cool, right? Since then no one has told me they're bored so I haven't been able to try it out. But I was bored once myself and it occurred to me to take my own advice. It was a pretty great reframing of my priorities.
