Relief Society Thinking

Our lesson was on our testimony of Christ.  I had just been thinking again, because of watching a Christian movie, Courageous, how amazing and valuable it is when we just talk of Christ -- when we speak of our faith.  We act as though we are all teachers in the government school system faced with consequences if we refer to our religion.  We answer as truthfully as possible with as much reference to goodness as we can without actually speaking of God.  The movie was scripted, of course, but I wish I would speak as naturally about the reality of the spiritual universe here in my temporal existence.  As I pondered on these thoughts yet again, I thought of the scripture, "We talk of Christ, we preach of Christ, we refoice in Christ," etc.  The scripture begins with, "We talk of Christ."  That is where I can begin, too!  If I can strive to talk of Christ at least once everyday that is a strong beginning.  While almost embarrasing in its meagerness, it is still much more than I do now.  It is my new goal.  It is a way God has shown me to become better at something I have noticed I am weak in and desire to be better.  I am so grateful for the inspiration.
