Conference Ensign

Elder Randall K. Bennett asked some interesting questions:

1.  Am I seeking divine direction through daily scripture study, pondering, and prayer, or have I chosen to be so busy or apapthetic that I don't take time to study the words of Christ, ponder them, and converse with my Heavenly Father?

I like this question because I get it.  When I do this blog and look for inspiration and the revelation of truth and take time to write it down, I feel the communication from Heaven!  It is very, very sweet.  It is very, very different than just living without it, no matter how "good" that life might be.  It is like black and white compared to color.  It's important.  And it's real.

3.  (Yes, I did skip 2) Am I seeking the guidance of the Holy Ghost daily in what I choose to think about, feel, and do?

This one I don't feel like I do, and yet, here it is in his list along with one that I might've skipped over usually (#1) but because I have been doing it better, I realize the sweetness it brings.  I will try to think of the Holy Ghost regularly throughout the day and open myself up to what he might like to say.
