Day 140: the bird

I realized that I wasn't forgiving myself for the death of the bird because I was trying to punish myself or pay somehow with my own pain. When I realized that, I realized how wrong I was. Christ has already paid for all sins with his own pain. He has the ability to do this where I do not. It was then I realized I hadn't taken my burden to the lord. I told him I was sorry and I was filled with the peace that it really was alright. God could make it alright and just like in every other thing, the bird was his own to begin with.
