John 8:34 "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."
Satan lies to us and says, "That man did a lot of bad stuff, but he repented and was forgiven. Now he has the same standing as any of us, but he got to have a lot of fun first!"
Fun? Where does that come from? Satan, of course. To sin, as Jesus says here, is to become the servant of sin. None of us are happy when we are not free.
