John 7:18 "He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him."
Here is a good antidote to pride. It is a solution to the unease I feel when I wonder what my true motivation is in some situations. If I seek the glory of God, I will not go amiss.
