Matthew 7: 36-50
Here it does not sound as though Christ is among those who like Him or approve of Him. Yet, it does not stop Him from stating the truth of what He knows -- even when it is controversial. Then He forgives and expresses compassion on a woman that is considered with disdain by those in the room. That doesn't stop Him either. Nor the fact that they disapprove and are shocked by Him. I hope that I can always state the truth and show compassion no matter the feeling in those around me.
