Probably nothing will safeguard my children as much as the habit of prayer. If they pray, they will come back to the Lord each night and account for their day. It will keep them wanting to stay on the straight and narrow. More FHE based on prayer -- maybe even targeted to specific children.
A FHE on our responsibility to build the Kingdom of God would also be good and get the kids thinking about their purpose in life and the skills they would like to develop.
