I like this thought from Mary Ellen Edmunds: "I’m convinced that our Heavenly Father will never ask us to do anything that doesn’t matter. "
It encourages me to do my best with what I am doing. If I can't do other things, I can still act well my part.
She also said though, to look inside ourselves and see what we need. God is always willing to answer our prayers. Maybe the trick is to ask God to help us see what we "need" and what we already have.
New Testament
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
