Matthew 5

When Jesus taught, He often did not give a straight answer.  His answers made the questioner wonder even more.  But that, of course, was what He wanted.  The more we think the better we accept the answer.  Not only that, but when we think and wonder, then the Holy Ghost can teach us and then the truth is really a part of us.

This is a hard thing to apply as a teacher trying to teach as Jesus taught.  I need to think about resisting the urge to give the answer and instead work on enigmatic answers that will get the listener confused more which leads to thinking more which leads to true conversion.

I don't know if I can do that.
