Abraham 4:18 And the Gods watched those things which they had ordered until they obeyed.
Isn't this an interesting scripture? Our earth operates because nature's obedience to its laws is absolute. what chaos would we be in if the laws of nature were only followed now and then? Could our earth fill its purpose at all without being able to rely on obedience in every thing and every sphere? I think it would fall apart! We'd all be left floating about in space. And yet, this scripture makes it sound as though these elements had a choice in whether or not they obeyed. Can I be relied on with just as much surety as these elements are relied upon? That is a high level of obedience and a high level of trust and assurance in that obedience. Can the capriciousness of man even reach such a state?
