L. Tom Perry, April 2011 Conference, The Sabbath and the Sacrament
To offer up our sacraments unto the Lord is to confess our faults and make restitution. The time we spend during the sacrament can be used to review our life and make new covenants with the Lord to change a specific thing -- something that we tell the Lord we will work on that week. Covenant-making makes the sacrament very holy and a powerful instrument for good in our lives.
