Day 105: Sunday school reading

Luke 10:25-37
The story of the good Samaritan. . .

I always skimmed over this dtory thinking that it didn't apply to me since I wouldn't abandon someone who was so obviously in need of help.
But today, someone I admire a great deal said that we couldn't read it enough times. I think she said this because it teaches us to always serve. The first men in the story look the other way because they don't want the man to know that they've seen him. I'm afraid that I might be guilty of that sometimes. The Samaritan sacrifices his time and his money at perhaps great cost to himself. I know that I only want to serve when it is convenient to me. There is much I can learn from this Samaritan. . .
