I was feeling pretty good the other day because I had gotten the house straightened and it was looking pretty good! When I realized . . . I wonder if that even matters? I spend quite some time on the house, straightening, cleaning, organizing. Should I spend all that time on it? It feels good, but does it matter?
I realized that Satan doesn't have to get us to do bad things in order to stop us from reaching our potential, he just has to keep us from doing good things. I know I've heard this in conference before. Probably in Good, Better, and Best. But it felt different having the thought on my own.
As I thought more on it, though, I decided the time I spend on my house is time well spent as it nurtures my family. So, I guess I can't ditch all my chores quite yet! :)
