I've had this experience, too! When my three oldest were also my three youngest and I was tired and exhausted from all the work I did for them, I was on my knees, and the thought came to me, "They'll do more for me than I'll ever do for them." I almost laughed because it was not at all what I had just been thinking and yet I knew at once that this strange, illogical thought was true. And it is.

How wonderful that the Lord takes opportunities to take the scales from our eyes so that for a moment we can see clearly.
