Work is when we accomplish something. I like that definition. That way it doesn't have anything to do with whether or not it's hard or whether or not you want to do it. It can be easy. You can want to do it, but if you are accomplishing something, you are working!
Work feels good because when you accomplish something, you create, and when you create you have joy.
Sister Evans ended the lesson by saying, "Remember that work is not about the clean house. It's about who we are and what we can become." I must remember this when the house is not clean. I must remember why I am cleaning and focus on whether or not the real purpose of work is being accomplished or not!
