"However, we must prepare ourselves to receive revelation. 'If we want to get wet, we have to get in the water," Jose says. "If we want revelation, we must go where revelation will fall. We must be where we should be, doing what we should be doing. We learn many things when we are diligent."
Not only do I learn from this that I should be where I need to be, I also learn that if I am in charge of an activity, I should provide opportunities for other people to receive revelation. To do that, I need to be close to the spirit myself.
In activity days, I should pray that the Lord will help me to be sensitive to the needs of the girls while I am there. I will ask that if I can say anything that will help any of the girls, that the Lord will urge me to say it. I can pray for this often. As I learn to be sensitive to the promptings of the spirit, I will grow in my ability to be led by the spirit. It will be great!
