D&C 56:17 Wo unto you poor men, whose hearts are not broken, whose spirits are not contrite, and whose bellies are not satisfied, and whose hands are not stayed from laying hold upon other men’s goods, whose eyes are full of greediness, and who will not labor with your own hands!
Sometimes I am this type of poor person -- jealous of what the more wealthy enjoy and believing I am entitled to things that I haven't worked for. God doesn't like that much and He sees right through it. Being poor isn't more virtuous than wealth. BOTH groups must live as Jesus lived.
